The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the member-owners is often a strongly anticipated event in a cooperative. It is your chance as a member-owner to exercise your right to vote on important decisions for the organization, select new board members who will be there to serve and represent the membership for the coming two years, learn of the financial and organizational status of the Co-op, share your opinions and feedback about how the co-op is doing to fulfill its mission, and exchange with fellow co-op member-owners.
July 23, 2015 was the Gardiner Food Co-op’s first ever AGM. Thank you so much to the many member-owners who participated. We enjoyed a delicious spread of foods from our Café, shared ideas on how to continue improving the Co-op, and the member-owners voted in three new board members: Susan Parks, Meaghan Carlson and Kate Del Vecchio. The Powerpoint presentation that was shown to the member-owners during the event is available here.
